    • Schynige Platte: A nostalgic cog railroad up to the Schynige Platte is definitely worth a trip in summer.

    • Grindelwald: Also known as the Eiger Village, it is easily accessible by car or train from Interlaken and offers a unique mountain backdrop at the foot of the Eiger North Face.
    • First – Grindelwald: Starting point for the Bachalpsee hike and exciting activities such as the Cliffwalk, First Flyer, First Glider, Mountain Carts and Trottibikes.
    • Oberhofen Castle: Located on the shores of Lake Thun, this historic castle is a scenic lakeside drive from Interlaken. Discover its beautiful gardens, visit the museum in the castle and enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake and mountains.
    • Jungfraujoch: Top of Europe: – the highest train station in Europe is world-famous. The train ride is an experience in itself, through the majestic Eiger. Once at the top, it offers numerous sights, such as the Ice Palace, a hike on the largest glacier in Europe and the Sphinx Observatory with an incredible view of the Alps.
    • Mürren: This charming car-free mountain village is accessible by cable car from Stechelberg and offers spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.     • Schilthorn and Piz Gloria: A little further afield, but well worth the trip, is the summit of the Schilthorn, home to the iconic Piz Gloria revolving restaurant, famous from a James Bond movie. The 360-degree views from here are breathtaking and offer glimpses of more than 200 mountain peaks.
    • Männlichen: On the Männlichen you have the best view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. In winter, it is a large ski area together with Kleine Scheidegg and Wengen. In summer, it is the starting point for many hikes, such as the Royal Walk, Lieselotteweg, treetop trail or the panoramic trail to Kleine Scheidegg.
    • Kleine Scheidegg and Eiger Glacier: offers great skiing conditions until spring and is the starting point for numerous hikes in summer, especially the Eiger Trail.
    • Lauterbrunnen/ Staubbach Falls: Just a short walk from the center of Lauterbrunnen, the Staubbach Falls plunge almost 300 meters from an overhanging cliff. Watching the glistening water cascading down is a fascinating experience. You can even get closer by following a hiking trail that leads to the base of the waterfall.
    • Trümmelbach Falls: A short drive or bus ride from Lauterbrunnen will take you to the Trümmelbach Falls, a series of impressive waterfalls in a mountain. Take an elevator to the top and hike back through tunnels and platforms, along the mighty force of glacial meltwater thundering through the cliffs. It is a geological wonder and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
