1. Weight and Height
The basic requirement for a parachute jump is good physical condition. Skydive Interlaken reserves the right to refuse to allow a client to make a jump if there are safety concerns, even if the limits described below are respected.
Women:
Weight: 90.0 kg/ 198.0 lbs or less.
BMI: 27.5 or less.Men:
Weight: 100.0 kg/220 lbs or less.
BMI: 30.0 or less.Guest Height: Max. 195cm / 76″

2. Minimal age
Minimum age requirement is 18 years and proper consent of parents is required for 16/17 years.

3. Experience required
Requires a basic training that will be done before departure, done with a instructor while you are still in land, it only takes 15 minutes and presents no difficulties.

4. Medical conditions
It is not recomended for people with hypertension, arrhythmia, cardiovascular disease, prior spine/neck injuries or issues, pregnancy, and diabetes.

5. No Drugs or alcohol
Do not drink or do drugs before skydiving, this is a safe activity that demands full control of your actions and cognition. Also make sure to be well hydrated and eat light before the adrenalin boost!

6. Durations
Takes between 2h-3h. Starting from the arrival where you will be instructed before flight, until safely landing on the drop zone.

7. Is tandem skydiving safe?
Yes, tandem skydiving is considered extremely safe when conducted by certified and experienced instructors. Rigorous equipment maintenance and inspections ensure the highest safety standards. Certified instructors prioritize your safety above all else, providing expert guidance throughout the entire experience. 8. What is physically required to tandem skydive?
Tandem skydiving requires a basic level of physical fitness. Participants should be in good overall health, free from most medical conditions that could be aggravated by the experience.

9. How high do I jump from?
The altitude 14’000ft/4000m above ground level. This altitude allows for a thrilling freefall experience while providing sufficient time for the parachute to be deployed and a safe landing.

10. What do I wear?
It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes suitable for the weather conditions. Loose-fitting attire is ideal, allowing for freedom of movement. Closed-toe shoes, preferably athletic shoes, are essential for safety. We will provide you with a jumpsuit to wear over your clothing.

11. Can I bring my own camera to film my tandem skydive?
The rapid changes in altitude and wind forces during the jump can make it challenging to handle a camera properly. However, we offer the option to have a professional videographer capture your skydiving experience, which ensures quality footage without compromising safety.

12. What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my tandem skydive?
Safety is paramount in skydiving, and if the weather conditions are unfavorable, your tandem skydive will be rescheduled. Skydiving Interlaken closely monitor weather conditions and make decisions based on safety guidelines. It’s always better to wait for suitable conditions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

13. Is it easy to breathe while skydiving?
Breathing during a skydive is not difficult. The sensation of freefall may initially take your breath away, but as you adjust to the experience, breathing becomes natural. Skydiving instructors will guide you on maintaining a relaxed body position, which helps with breathing comfortably throughout the jump.

14. What should I not do when skydiving?
When skydiving, it’s important to follow the instructions and guidelines provided by your instructor. Avoid making sudden movements or gestures that may interfere with the parachute or harness. Additionally, it is recommended not to consume alcohol or drugs before skydiving, as they can impair judgment and coordination.

16. What should I eat before jumping?
It’s recommended to eat a light, well-balanced meal before skydiving. Opt for foods that provide sustained energy, such as fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. Avoid heavy or greasy meals that may cause discomfort during the jump. Staying hydrated by drinking water is also important before and during the skydiving experience.
